WAS — Scans Overview

Overview

The Scans dashboard lists every executed or scheduled scan across all WAS projects.
For each scan, you can quickly determine:
  • Scan status (Completed / Running / Failed)
  • Total rules executed
  • Progress (executed vs. total rules)
  • Vulnerability counts (Critical, High, Medium, Low)
  • Execution timestamp
  • Available scan actions (rescan, delete)
This enables teams to efficiently monitor scanning behavior and identify gaps or failures.

Key Metrics Displayed

Scan Name

The name of the project or scan task executed.

Status

Indicates whether the scan is Completed, Running, or Failed.

Rules Executed

Shows how many rules were run versus how many are configured.

Vulnerability Summary

Displays counts across severity levels (Critical, High, Medium, Low).

Scan Table Breakdown

  • Status — Current state of the scan
  • Rules — Number of rules executed
  • Progress — Execution completion indicator
  • Vulnerabilities — Severity distribution
  • Actions — Options to re-run or delete a scan

Actions Available for Each Scan

Rescan

Re-executes the scan using the same configuration and ruleset.

Delete Scan

Permanently removes the scan entry from the history.

When to Use the Scans Page
